Wartburg Television has started a new program called Home Game Heroes. This initiative is sponsored by the Waverly Hy-Vee. It is a way to recognize outstanding high school athletes' talents and leadership roles throughout the 2007-08 school year. One Home Game Hero will be selected by the Wartburg Television staff each month to be recognized on WTV8.

Nomination forms can be found on this site as well as at Denver, Janesville and Waverly-Shell Rock High Schools, and the Waverly Hy-Vee. Students, teachers, and community members can nominate athletes. For further questions you may contact Travis Bockenstedt at wartburgtv@wartburg.edu.
